Wilmington, NC; February 6, 2018 — Evidera is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement in which Allscripts, a leader in health care information technology solutions, has acquired Evalytica®, a cloud-based platform for rapid and transparent analysis of data from diverse sources and a wholly owned subsidiary of PPD’s Evidera business unit.
We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for our clients, as well as all current and prospective Evalytica users. PPD, Evidera, and Allscripts will continue to collaborate on data analytics, and are working toward a broader partnership around the Evalytica platform.
We believe this strategic acquisition by Allscripts will create new opportunities to advance the Evalytica technology, enabling the platform to expand and improve its capabilities, functionality and reach, and positioning it for rapid growth. As an innovative technology platform, Evalytica will benefit further from a parent company like Allscripts with its focus on health care technology solutions.
As part of Allscripts, Evalytica will become part of a solution set that leverages longitudinal data from a rich, deep and wide Health Insights Database. Allscripts’ acquisition of Evalytica creates a powerful offering for clients, bringing together the technology of Evalytica, the strength of Allscripts’ payer and provider relationships, and a large and growing repository of patient data.
